There is no tomorrow to remember if we don't do something today!

Okay I have to admit, I have been down a little lately. In a conversation a good friend was discussing that hard times are comming and how we treat people we know shows our true character. Then I started worrying, oh no have I really portrayed the person I want to be? I pulled out my Ensign and read the talk by President Thomas S. Monson Finding Joy in the Journey. The whole talk is amazing but a paragraph struck me. "Despite the changes which come into our lives and with gratitude in our hearts, may we fill our days-as much as we can-with those things which matter the most. May we cherish those we hold dear and express our love to them in word and deed.
Being November and the month of Thanksgiving it seems appropriate to count blessings. I am so grateful for an amazing husband, (sorry girls I look what's out there I really snatched up the best!) I have awesome family and incredible friends who make me want to be better. I am going to try to be better in my actions and my deeds. I am blessed. I love you all and miss you!
Do you feel the love?

Well lucky for me you weren't on the market when Dustin was around because I swear I picked the most amazing guy too! From what I hear about John he sounds like he's just as great!

I totally hear you about the attitude adjustment. I've been needing a good kick in the pants.

Hi Dori,

After my sister encouraged me to set up a family blog, I feel like I need to visit all the other blogs I've been invited to visit.

Your site is very nice and inspiring and I enjoyed all of the pictures. It is great to see how much your kids have grown.

I am so with you on your feelings about how we treat others and love the article you mentioned on enjoying the journey.

Thanks for all your inspiring words. I sure love you,
Leslie
