We remember 9/11

Alexandrea reminded us yesterday that it was 9/11 today and she wanted our family to wear Red, White & blue in rememberance of this day. I was grateful for her suggestion. So today we wear our Red, White & Blue!
We remember & discussed what we were doing 7 years ago.
I was getting ready for work and my mom called and told me to turn the T.V on and there I sat and watched them talk about a plane that had crashed into one of the twin towers. Within minutes of turning the t.v. on the news said the second one had crashed. I had to leave for work but didn't want to go. There were too many unanswered questions. It was John's day off and his day to stay home and watch the kids. He was sleeping when my mom called. We watched together. John called his Dad and woke him up to have him turn the t.v. on.
I reluctantly made it to work and Dr.Deardorff had a small t.v he had brought from home and plugged it in. Denise my boss had kept us informed through out the day.
A day of such choas and unknown answers a lot of hero's were born and it seemed that all across the U.S.A. people came together.
Today we remember those who died and the hero's who were born and for those who are still fighting for freedom. My Children were young (or not even born yet) but they know through stories of 9/11 what happened and patriotism is in their hearts. Our family is blessed to live in a great country where there is freedom. Today we remember 9/11. We love the U.S.A.!
Hello, my name is John Rogers and I approve this message!
